USS Abraham Lincoln Refitted

The USS Abraham Lincoln a Nimitz-class carrier left Hampton Roads  some time ago after a mid life refit which included changes for the Navy’s F-35C Lightning II. It has been working up for the return to its home port of San Diego but the first deployment  not know due to the US Navy's drive to make it self less predictable, but is believed to be a world tour..

This is not unlike the strategy being under taken in the US Army of fast deployments to Europe and with the general  ramping up of US Forces appears to be a sign of increased readiness in all Theatres.
