Royal Navy pilots will be posted overseas with thier F-35 Lightnings for two months of training in Cyprus at RAF Akrotiri. This will be a work up for the deployment to HMS Queen Elizabeth later this year. I will be the first time the Navy pilots have taken Front line fast jets out of the country in a few years.
